Freddi’s best friend is a hippopotamus who lives in a zoo but dreams about Africa. Freddi would like to help him – and sets out with the hippo on an adventurous journey that takes the pair through savage storms and across hot deserts. Will they ever reach the place where the air smells of honey and a little bit of bananas, too; where there are palm trees laden with coconuts and lots of lots of friends for the hippo.
